It’s been a torrid few weeks for West Brom supporters, and their misery was only made worse this week upon hearing the news of Matheus Pereira’s punishment for his violent conduct against Stoke City.

As confirmed on the club’s official website, the Brazilian attacker will miss the next three games for the Baggies after the FA ruled the 23-year-old attacker breached violent conduct legislation after TV cameras picked up Pereira elbowing Stoke midfielder Joe Allen.
Can Kenneth Zohore be our second half of the season saviour?
Yes
No
The forward will miss West Brom’s next three fixtures, and some supporters on social media have been theorising as to who could replace Pereira for the upcoming matches, with Slaven Bilic desperate to return to winning ways after a month of poor form.
Here’s who some West Brom fans suggested on Twitter could replace the attacker for the next three games…
I’d go for a complete system change. 3-5-2 with Austin up front with HRK #wba

Krovinovic or Harper I’d say. Harper is more physical and Krov holds the ball too long so I’d prefer to try Harper. Barry/ Brunt are choices but I feel like they’re too slow.

Willock can play number 10 cant he ? Or just play kanu and austin up top

Harper deffo sounds like a shout here. His box to box play and physicality are better than krovi

Bilić has used Kanu as a number 10, maybe he will do that and have Austin/Zohore as starting striker.
Or play with 2 strikers, i think wether Krovinović takes that role depends of his performance Saturday as it’s likely he’ll start.— JonW1995 (@JonW1995) January 22, 2020
As stats from WhoScored show, Pereira has been one of the Baggies most important players this season, scoring five and assisting 10 in the Championship.
