West Brom defender James Chester has been named in Wales’ final 23 man cut for this summer’s European Championships.

Wales face a final friendly in preparations for the trip to France for their first major tournament since the World Cup back in 1958 and it’s also their first appearance at the European Championship finals and after Sweden in Stockholm on Sunday, Chester will be gearing up for the Group B battles against Slovakia on Saturday June 11, England on Thursday June 16 and finally Russia on Monday June 20.

Chester will be hoping for an extended summer, more game time and passage through to the knock out stages.
