Defender James Chester has been called into the Welsh squad for their pre European Championships training camp in Portugal.

With Chris Coleman selecting a 28 man squad for a trip to the Algarve before he decides on the final 23 man squad that will head to France for this summer’s finals, Chester will be hoping to make the final cut for Wales’ first major tournament in 60 odd years.

With the cut being made by June 1, Wales open their Group B campaign with a match against Slovakia on June 11 before then taking on England on June 16, and closing the group stage against Russia on June 20.
