This is a new one for the rumour mill, apparently Chelsea are considering letting youngster Ryan Bertrand out on loan again this season and we are said to be interested.
The Sun suggest that Chelsea have slapped a £5m fee on the player who has been on successive loan spells over the past few years, most recently Nottingham Forest, before finally making his Chelsea debut last season and whilst the London club don’t really want him off their books it’s believed they would entertain another loan to get him further experience.
With that in mind they link us, Wolves, Bolton, Fulham and Nottingham Forest again as showing an interest in taking him.
I really don’t see this one coming off myself, I know Bertrand is highly rated for his age and if you read around Chelsea comments there is a decent camp that want him to stay as back up for Ashley Cole, but if we are going to take another risk on a youngster surely it’s in our own best interests to have them on a permanent deal rather than blooding them for others.
