West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has again rubbished talk of a fall out with Nacer Chadli.

With record signing Chadli not featuring in any of our seven Premier League games so far this campaign, Pulis has once again repeated that there was no ongoing fall out from Chadli’s failure to make the pre season trip with us to Austria and insisted he should be ready for recall following the current international break.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail during the international break, Pulis explained that the relationship between the two of them was fine and he praised him for his efforts to get his fitness back after injury.

Chadli has of course been involved in four matchday squads, including last weekend’s against Watford, but he hasn’t been called upon.

‘I`ve been disappointed that he’s been injured. Disappointed he got that muscular injury because he is important to us. But he’s really knuckled down and worked hard.’

Pulis went on to say.

‘He had the option to come with us to London (Arsenal) or play and get 45 minutes in. I thought 45 minutes with the Under 23s would be best for him because he needs game time. As soon as we talked about it he was happy as anybody to get in done. He came back and trained really well.’

If Chadli comes back into the team on a more regular basis following the October break, that will at least quieten the ongoing rumours in the media.
