Scott Carson has put pen to paper on a new contract with Turkish club Bursaspor after Albion accepted an undisclosed fee for him.

Speaking to wba.co.uk as the move was announced as official from our end, Roy Hodgson said of the 25 year old keeper.

‘In the three months I worked with Scott I cannot fault his professionalism and dedication. I would like to wish him all the best for the future as he looks to broaden his experience by playing in a foreign country.’

I’m still surprised to see him move on and apart from moments (and I know he has his critics) I thought he was a pretty solid keeper and we could’ve certainly done worse than have him between the sticks for the past 3 seasons.

Best of luck Scott, hope it works out for you.
