According to The Express and Star, Crystal Palace are poised to make a bid for 19-year-old defender Nathan Ferguson, with the teenage fullback’s current contract with the Albion set to expire next summer as the academy-grown player has failed to put pen to paper on a new deal with the club.
Is West Brom's academy one of the best in England?
Yes
No
Whilst the majority of supporters are keen on Ferguson departing the Hawthorns given how he has treated the situation with his new contract, some fans on social media were eager for the youngster to take his talents to a club other than Palace.
Here’s what a few West Brom fans had to say on Twitter about Palace’s pending bid for Ferguson…
Its very likely that Zaha will leave in the summer and a Palace team without Zaha is a relegation battle team so other than money i cant see why he would jump ship so early in his career when he only just got first team football
But everyone has their reasons so good luck to him.— JonW1995 (@JonW1995) January 28, 2020
Is it just me but 4m seems a bit low?

It seems a real shame that he apparently wants to go elsewhere to not get first team football. For me he wouldn’t even make the bench yet at palace or the other clubs being mentioned. Better to stay with us and play.

I can’t see him accepting terms with palace. I think he’s been advised that he can get paid stupid wages at a European team in the summer. He’ll sit tight.

I dont know who is advising Nathan, but he is making a grave error in judgement.

Wasted talent will go to Palace to sit on the bench

The teenager has been linked with a plethora of clubs this month, including Tottenham and AC Milan as reported by The Sun.
