WBA have revealed that Chris Brunt could now be a doubt for the Swansea game following a training ground injury.

After picking up a knee problem on Monday, his chances of making the game are placed at 50/50, but Michael Appleton isn’t too concerned and if he does miss the game, it should be the only one.

‘It’s nothing serious, it’s more precautionary. He seemed to be in a reasonable frame of mind yesterday so I don’t think it’s too serious.’

Appleton added that whilst Zoltan Gera was progressing nicely in training, the Swansea game could be too soon for him to make his return.

‘Zoltan is not doing too bad at all, he’s trained for 8 or 9 days with the players. Touch wood, we’re getting into a situation where he may be able to have a little bit of football, whether that be with the reserves we’ll see.’
