“Break The Bank” “Everything In Our Power” – West Brom Man Has Options Come The Summer

|

West Bromwich Albion youngster Oliver Burke has been largely a success up in Scotland following his season long loan move to Celtic.

With a number of bright performances, but also some poor showings that led to the 21-year-old Scottish international being on the end of some harsh criticism, he seems to have rebounded of late and Celtic fans are again calling for the club to splash the cash over the summer and bring him to Parkhead on a permanent deal.

With it being believed that there is no permanent buy clause in the loan deal with head coach Darren Moore continuing to speak highly of the former Nottingham Forest Academy graduate, their current managerial position potentially complicates a deal as well, as Neil Lennon has now replaced Leicester City bound Brendan Rodgers, so if they pivot over the summer again, a new gaffer may have different ideas.

From our point of view though, being in good form given his reported £15million purchase fee should more ensure we break even on any future deal, but equally if he returns confident, we may in fact finally see the best from him – so it remains win, win in my eyes.
