It would be an understatement to say that Matheus Pereira has had a big effect on West Brom this season, and his loan spell is on the verge of becoming a permanent one.

Joseph Masi of The Express and Star reports that the Brazilian youngster’s deal at the Baggies will soon become permanent when the 23-year-old plays his 30th game for the club, triggering a clause that means West Brom have an obligation to purchase the attacker from Sporting Lisbon.
