Head coach Tony Pulis has given his thoughts following the derby draw with Aston Villa at the weekend.

Playing out a scoreless draw at The Hawthorns with the visitors having more of the ball and far greater chances on the day, with Albion failing to even register an effort on goal, Pulis had to admit his disappointment at the full time whistle as he stated that the plan was to obviously to do ‘better’ when it came to our offensive play in the game.

Pulis was as ever questioned in the build up to the game about the future of striker Sadio Berahino, and with various reports about bids from other clubs so far this window – namely Newcastle United – Pulis explained that the club had not yet received a firm offer for the player.
