Head coach Tony Pulis admitted in his post game FA Cup press conference that all parties would have to sit down in the summer to discuss his future at the club.

With rankling amongst the fanbase with the Pulis style of the play, the constant references back to the Aston Villa game when deflecting how often the side seem to fail to register a shot on target, tempers flared even more yesterday as West Bromwich went out at the fifth round stage to Reading.

Making the trip to the Madejski Stadium on the back of two replays required to reach this stage, Pulis had said ahead of the game he wanted the match preferably done and dusted by the full time whistle at this time of asking – and with a three one defeat he certainly got that.

With skipper Darren Fletcher giving the side the lead in the 54th minute, the hosts hit back with three of their own to take the comfortable victory and the fact Albion had less possession on the day and only registered two attempts on target against the Championship side hadn’t gone unnoticed.

With a very unsavoury coin throwing incident at Chris Brunt – and whatever feelings are there is patently no excuse for that from any ‘fan’, Brunt also gave his thoughts following the match.

Pulis also gave his thoughts on that incident.
