Earlier today West Bromwich Albion announced the loan capture of Serge Gnabry from Arsenal.

With mounting speculation over the last few days and it believed the deal could’ve gone through last night it’s no great surprise to see it confirmed today.

The 20 year old winger has signed a loan deal with us until the end of the 2015-16 campaign and he’s been handed the No 31 shirt and becomes head coach Tony Pulis’ fourth signing of the summer following on from the captures of James McClean, James Chester and Rickie Lambert.

Speaking to wba.co.uk having completed the move the German Under 21 international explained.

‘I`m very delighted by the move. I see the opportunity that I can play, it`s a good club and I`ve heard good things. I`m very happy that I`ve signed here. I`ve got good impressions and I feel it`s a good environment for me to play and also develop as a player.’

Pulis added himself about he capture.

‘We`re delighted to add Serge to our options. He is a top player and he will bring us quality in certain areas of the pitch.’

In out going loan news, youngster Tahvon Campbell has now moved to Kidderminster Harriers on a youth loan. The 18 year old heads out to Aggborough until Saturday January 2, and joins up with Andre Wright who made an identical move on Wednesday.

We do have a 28 day recall clause.
