Roy Hodgson has said he will likely shake the team up a bit for our Carling Cup second round game at Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Once he has run his eye over the general fitness of the squad following the Chelsea match, Hodgson will probably hand starts to those not involved so far.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the gaffer said.

‘There were a few bumps, bruises and slight strains from the Chelsea game so we’ll have a look at those players first. Will I ret players? I don’t know yet. But there are one or two players I want to have a look at. We’ve got bona fide first team players like Dorrans and Cech who haven’t had much chance yet, this might give them that opportunity.’

Maybe George Thorne can have his name thrown into the mix aswell.
