Wigan have launched an audacious £4m bid for Peter Odemwingie and rightly been told where to go.
Confirming the offer on wba.co.uk Dan Ashworth said.
‘This summer, we have made it our No1 priority to keep our core players and strengthen the squad around them. We have no intention of selling Peter and we are a little bit disappointed that Wigan have tabled this offer. We spoke to Wigan beforehand but they still proceeded to lodge a bid, which has been flatly rejected.’
