It’s being reported that West Bromwich Albion have already held talks with our of contract Australian international Jason Davidson.

The 23 year old has recently returned from Brazil where he played in all three of Austrialia’s World Cup group games, and it’s being suggested that we are hoping to wrap up a deal for the left back having missed out on Aaron Cresswell who moved to West Ham last week.

Davidson is a free agent having now let his contract expire at Dutch Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo, and in his two years with him he made just under 50 appearances.

Whilst predominantly being a left back, he can also perform in the middle and in midfield, and has previous experience playing in Portugal with Pacos de Ferreira.
