It is sometimes quite easy to forget that Oliver Burke not only used to play for West Brom, but that he is still on the club’s books despite two loan spells in the past 12 months.

Yet it appears that won’t be the case for too long as the Scottish international admitted in a recent interview with The Daily Record that he is eager to find a new permanent club where he can regain his confidence that made him once a prized asset in football as well as show up the likes of West Brom that there is still a good player inside him.

And as you would expect, these damming comments on the Albion were met by harsh criticism by some West Brom fans on social media, who were quick to slam the 22-year-old attacker for his short-comings at the club and the terrible performances Burke put on during his bleak time with the Baggies.

Burke is currently out on loan at La Liga side Deportivo Alaves where he has largely been used as a substitute as stats from Transfermarkt show.
