West Brom fans have had some magnificent players turn out for them over the years, but when it comes to longevity and consistency at the top level, then Chris Brunt isn’t matched by many at The Hawthorns, as the 35-year-old has managed 416 games for the Baggies.

The veteran midfield man is someone who will live long in the memory of the supporters even after he hangs up his boots. The Northern Irish international’s spell at the club started when he signed way back in summer 2007, and the fans haven’t looked back since.
Now, though, we’re getting to a stage where Brunt’s influence on the side is starting to wane, and as much as the fans will want to see him stick around, it could be time for him to either move onto a new less demanding challenge or move up into coaching.
You can read the Baggies’ verdict on Brunt here:
Absolute legend. My favourite player to ever play for us. If he does leave (even though i dont want him to) i hope he comes back as a coach

Be a shame to see him go. He’s been a good solid player

The West Brom fans adore Brunt, and whatever happens from here with the 35-year-old, he’ll always have a home at The Hawthorns.
