3 Shots, 76 Touches & 3 Key Passes Takes West Brom Star To MotM As We Remain Unbeaten So Far

Despite dominating the game and having double the efforts on goal, West Bromwich Albion had to battle back from behind in Wednesday evening’s Championship clash at The Hawthorns against Reading.

Head coach Slaven Bilic actually described the game as “our best performance yet” but he knew that amount of chances really should’ve seen us test the goalkeeper far more than we managed (only four on target).

Substitute Kenneth Zohore secured the point from the penalty spot though with only two minutes remaining in normal time, and statistics website Whoscored felt that 28-year-old Matty Phillips was our Man of the Match given his overall performance.

Having picked up a rating of 7.31 for his efforts, the top five were completed by Zohore (7.18), Filip Krovinovic (7.09), Romaine Sawyers (6.85) and Kyle Bartley (6.70).

It continues our steady start to the 2019/20 campaign and we sit in sixth place in the table on eight points, and remain unbeaten thus far.
