With the summer transfer rumour mill moving into high gear now, despite West Bromwich Albion still yet to find out who will be our manager or head coach for a second year in the Championship, we’ve already seen some speculation about Burnley returning for Craig Dawson, and we can now add Jay Rodriguez to the list.

As West Brom fans will be well aware, last summer there was plenty of speculation suggesting that Burnley had made a double £25million bid for both players, but we were obviously looking for significantly more than that.

Although the report from Lancs Live doesn’t really speculate on a fee, whilst we might now let Dawson out for around the £10-15million mark, we’ll most certainly still be looking for in the region of £20million for Rodriguez, especially with the 29-year-old scoring 22 times and providing six assists as we made our way to the Play-Off Semi-Finals.

Bournemouth are tentatively linked as well, but they do mention a belief that JRod would be available for less than £16milion and that’s just utter nonsense for me.
