1 Shot, 2 Interceptions Sees West Brom Loanee Take MotM From Leeds Disappointment

|

West Bromwich Albion’s trip to Elland Road on Friday evening to face fellow Championship promotion hopeful’s Leeds United didn’t exactly go to plan.

With a 4-1 victory earlier in the season at The Hawthorns, Leeds pretty easily tipped this clash in their favour with a comfortable 4-0 victory on the night and our defensive issues were laid bare for all to see once again.

Statistics website Whoscored didn’t rate a single player with a seven given the overall performance.

On loan Manchester City player Tosin Adarabioyo scored the highest from the day with his performance as their system gave him 6.60.

Completing the top five in their list were Jay Rodriguez (6.39), Jake Livermore (6.23), Hal Robson-Kanu (6.17) and James Morrison (6.15).

The fallout amongst the fanbase has been as spectacular as you’d imagine, and whilst the result brings an end to real automatic hopes, there’s no reason to think the Play-Offs aren’t an option – and let’s face it, most fans would’ve taken that at the beginning of the season, so a little perspective is required.
