1 Shot, 1 Key Pass & 3 Tackles Takes Talented West Brom Youngster To MotM

It’s been a good old start to life under new head coach Slaven Bilic at The Hawthorns, and West Bromwich Albion’s form is certainly on the rise – particularly after Saturday’s Championship victory over Queens Park Rangers.

Following goals from Nathan Ferguson and Matheus Pereira, a 2-0 victory, lifted us into top spot in the second tier table and we hold a one point advantage over Swansea City and Nottingham Forest who are joint in second place.

We’d have certainly taken that over the summer, the question is now, can we maintain it?

Statistics website Whoscored had some good player ratings after that one, but Academy graduate Nathan Ferguson took their star man award for Man of the Match and the 18-year-old just keeps impressing – especially with a score of 8.44.

Completing the top five on the day were Matheus Pereira (8.04), Kyle Bradley (8.02), Grady Diangana (7.44) and Semi Ajayi (7.10).

Also receiving seven plus scores for the day were Darnell Furlong, Romaine Sawyers and Jake Livermore.
